🇺🇸🇮🇷🕊️❓ Trump says US and Iranian officials will talk next week as ceasefire holds

The fragile ceasefire between Israel and Iran appeared to be holding on Wednesday while U.S. President Donald Trump asserted that U.S. and Iranian officials will talk next week, giving rise to cautious hope for longer-term peace even as Tehran insisted it will not give up its nuclear program.

Trump, who helped negotiate the ceasefire that took hold Tuesday on the 12th day of the war, told reporters at a NATO summit that he wasn’t particularly interested in restarting negotiations with Iran, insisting that U.S. strikes had destroyed its nuclear program. Earlier in the day, an Iranian official questioned whether the United States could be trusted after its weekend attack.

“We may sign an agreement, I don’t know,” Trump said. “The way I look at it, they fought, the war is done.”

Iran has not acknowledged any talks taking place next week, though U.S. Mideast envoy Steve Witkoff has said there has been direct and indirect communication between the countries. A sixth round of negotiations between the U.S. and Iran had been scheduled for earlier this month in Oman but was cancelled when Israel attacked Iran.

🇺🇸🇮🇱🇮🇷The US Director of National Intelligence has backed Trump's version that Iran's nuclear infrastructure was destroyed as a result of the war.

Tulsi Gabbard, citing new intelligence, said it would take years to restore Iran's nuclear infrastructure sites in Natanz, Fordow and Isfahan, damaged by recent strikes.

Gabbard said that to rebuild, Iran would "have to essentially build these facilities from scratch."

Let us recall that Trump earlier called the publications that reported that Iran had retained its nuclear potential fake.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 According to Bloomberg, U.S. President Donald Trump announced that the United States will meet with Iran next week. However, he cast doubt on the need for a nuclear deal.

Trump claimed that recent U.S. airstrikes “destroyed” Iran’s nuclear facilities, suggesting a diplomatic agreement might no longer be necessary—though he did not rule out the possibility of signing one.

‼️🇮🇷☢️ - Iran’s Parliament votes to suspend cooperation with UN nuclear watchdog

Iran’s parliament has overwhelmingly approved a bill mandating the government to suspend all cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN’s nuclear watchdog. The move is a direct and forceful response to the “recent aggression by Israel and the United States” against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

In a charged session of the Majles, Iran’s parliament, lawmakers voted 221 to 0, with one abstention, to approve the general outlines of the bill on Wednesday. The final articles of the bill were later passed with a similar sweeping majority, cementing a stance that will see IAEA inspectors barred from the country and all monitoring activities halted.

The approved bill now requires final ratification from Iran’s Guardian Council, a 12-member body of jurists. They review the bill to ensure it does not contradict the Constitution of Iran and Islamic principles. Once approved in the Guardian Council, it is signed into law by the President and officially published, making it enforceable across the country.

‼️🇮🇷☢️ - Key distinction in #Iran's new IAEA bill approved today:

▪️Suspension of cooperation is automatic upon the bill becoming law.
▪️Resumption of cooperation is conditional to fulfilling two conditions. This needs a report from AEOI then certified by SNSC that the terms have been met

🇵🇸🇮🇱🕊️❓ - U.S. Makes New Push for Gaza Cease-Fire, Building on Iran Deal

The U.S. is making a fresh push in negotiations to end the fighting and free the hostages in Gaza, as President Trump hopes to build on the momentum of a deal that paused hostilities between Israel and Iran and bring an end to the conflict that sparked nearly two years of war in the Middle East.
While significant gaps remain between Israel and Hamas, Arab officials mediating the talks say both sides have shown an interest in getting a deal done. The mediators said they are in talks with both sides by telephone, adding they could soon meet in Egypt, which along with Qatar has helped the U.S. broker the Gaza talks.

On Wednesday, President Trump said that the cease-fire between Israel and Iran has improved the atmosphere of talks around the fighting in Gaza. “I think great progress is being made on Gaza,” Trump told reporters at the NATO summit in The Hague. “I think we’re going to have some very good news.”

Trump said he was recently briefed about developments in the talks by special envoy Steve Witkoff. “He did tell me that Gaza is very close,” Trump said.

‼️🇮🇱 Israel’s military said to be running low on some key weaponry -

Israel’s military is running low on some key weaponry as Trump tries to hold together a fragile ceasefire between Israel and Iran, according to three U.S. officials.

Israel is specifically low on munitions, two of the officials said.

The shortage comes amid tensions between Trump and Netanyahu over Trump’s push for a ceasefire after 12 days of strikes between Israel and Iran.

A spokesperson for the Israeli government did not respond to a request for comment.

A defense official declined to comment.

At the same time, acting Chief of Naval Operations James Kilby testified today before the Senate that while the U.S. Navy has enough of the missiles it needs to defend Israel, the United States is using them “at an alarming rate.”

The United States has helped defend Israel against a barrage of Iranian attacks in the past two weeks.

‼️🇺🇸🇮🇱 - Heavy expenditure of U.S. air defense munitions to defend Israel

Assuming the US Army THAAD battery in Israel used up 50% more interceptors (39+20) than the video evidence used shows, it would mean roughly 10-15% of the US Army's inventory of THAAD missiles was likely used up over this 12 day period. While US Army has been buying small number of THAAD AURs lately to allow production deliveries to FMS customers, this could force some interesting discussions with KSA, UAE and future customers (Qatar). The Army has in the past ordered 100+ THAAD AUR's in a recent single production lot ordered >100 AURs and may have to place an order that size to replenish its inventory.

📝 Carolina Lion - It looks like we used up about 15% of our THAAD inventory in little less then two weeks defending Israel from Iranian ballistic missiles. Which means we would likely run out of air defense munitions in about 6 weeks in a war against Russia or China.

He believes that media reports based on this report are intended to "twist the situation to make the president look bad, even though it was a clear victory."

🇮🇷🇨🇳 Iran Moves Quickly to Buy Chinese J-10C Fighters Amid Escalating Regional Threats

Iran has decided to urgently acquire Chinese J-10C multirole fighter jets, according to Kommersant, citing Iran’s Khorasan newspaper.

Talks with Beijing over a major arms deal—initially for up to 150 jets—had dragged on for nearly two decades due to payment issues. Tehran faced a chronic shortage of foreign currency, while China was unwilling to accept payment in oil or gas. The scope of the deal was eventually reduced to just 36 aircraft. That changed on June 24, when the United States quietly gave China the green light to purchase Iranian oil without the threat of sanctions.
Following the recent war with Israel—where Israeli air superiority was painfully evident—Iran is now rushing to modernize its air force.

According to Military Balance 2025, Iran had up to 150 operational fighter jets prior to the conflict, most of them outdated American models. The Iranian Air Force also retains up to 18 MiG-29A/UBs acquired in the late 1980s and early 1990s, but most are non-operational due to a lack of spare parts and the complexity of maintenance.

Experts note that the J-10C offers a practical solution—cheaper and more readily available than Russian MiG-35s or Su-35s, which Tehran had previously considered.

🇮🇷🇮🇱🇺🇸Iran rejects resumption of nuclear talks with US, - Bloomberg
🇨🇳 China Took Note of Israel’s 13-Day War

Beijing closely studied Israel’s sabotage campaign against Iran — and didn’t like what it saw.
Chinese analysts expressed concern over how quickly Israeli intelligence managed to disable Iranian defenses and hit key targets. They warn this exposes vulnerabilities in China’s own strategic infrastructure.

➡️Key points from Chinese experts:

- Analyst Fu Qianshao called Israel’s actions a “new form of warfare” — where covert agents and sabotage can achieve major objectives without WMDs. He urged tighter internal security.

- Military expert Yan Wei noted China already has advanced legal and tech-based safeguards, but admitted Israel’s success shows the need to upgrade protection of critical sites.

Israel’s initial strikes on Iran followed a clear playbook: cripple air defenses, decapitate command, and strike with cheap drones and sabotage teams.

Given China’s ambitions toward Taiwan, and the island’s active preparations for conflict, Beijing’s concerns are well-founded.

➡️China is fast at adopting battlefield lessons — from drone tech to hardened air shelters. But one major weakness remains: lack of combat experience, something even advanced weaponry can’t compensate for.

Post by dragan_mig31 »

🇮🇷❌🇮🇱 The IDF published the war statistics. 500 Iranian missiles reached Israel & 257 missiles were targeted for interception. As previously mentioned, there are many more unreported Iranian strikes. Expect numerous unreported hits on airbases & various other military sites.

Satellite imagery, if available, will likely reveal additional damage (or hits). According to published data, at least 257 interceptors of various types — Arrow 2, Arrow 3, David’s Sling (Stunner), THAAD, SM-6, and SM-3 — were used.

Assuming an average of two interceptors per target, that suggests around 514 interceptors were launched, if not more.

A total of 631 missiles were reportedly launched by Iran. It remains unclear how many failed or were destroyed on the launchers.

500 missiles reached Israeli territory — 79% of the total. 243 missiles were directed toward open areas — 49%. (Note: "Open areas" in this context include military sites such as Nevatim and Ovda airbases)

257 missiles were targeted for interception — 51%.

221 were successfully intercepted — 86% success rate. (Note: Substantial part of these interceptions were carried out by U.S. forces)

36 missiles hit directly — 14%. (Note: This does not account for rocket sub-munitions deployed by Iran)

13,197 insurance claims, 2,305 apartments damaged in 240 buildings

In other words, Israeli & U.S. interceptor stockpiles are now running (extremely) low. So, Iran needs to scale up missile production & conduct large scale simultaneous missile attack next time. In a future war, we will see much much more destruction in Israel.

At the same time, I'd like to add that the 86% interception rate (out of the 257 missiles that were reportedly targeted for interception) is merely a claim, and the actual figure could be significantly lower.

It should also be noted that the missiles which were not intercepted were aimed at airbases. It would have been more effective, given the lack of high precision, to strike Tel Aviv intensely instead.

Pezeshkian instructed Aliyev to conduct a serious investigation into this matter. We’re awaiting the results of this investigation.

He noted that Iran will respond depending on the investigation's outcome.

🇺🇸🇮🇷Trump called media reports that the White House discussed providing Iran with $30 billion for nuclear energy fake.

The US President considers the journalists who disseminated this information "sick".
🇮🇷 Two senior Iranian officials — previously declared killed by Israel — were spotted at a funeral in Tehran.

Among them were Ali Shamkhani, senior advisor to Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, and Esmail Qaani, commander of the IRGC Quds Force.

🇺🇳🇮🇷IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said that Iran would need only a few months to resume uranium enrichment work.

Despite the fact that the United States has caused serious damage to the republic's nuclear facilities, "something remains there," and Iran still has the ability to engage in this technological process, he said.

🇮🇷🇺🇸 Intercepted Iranian Call: Trump’s Strikes Were “Less Devastating Than Expected”

The U.S. intercepted a private call between senior Iranian officials discussing this month’s American strikes on Iran’s nuclear program, according to four people familiar with classified intelligence reported by The Washington Post.

In the call, Iranian officials remarked that the Trump-ordered strikes were less destructive and extensive than they had anticipated. They openly speculated why the attacks did not cause more damage.

The intelligence, now circulating within the U.S. government, is being described as “not particularly significant” by administration officials.

🇮🇷 Iran has received messages through intermediaries assuring that the United States is not seeking regime change in the Islamic Republic, nor is it planning any actions against Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. This was stated by Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister, Majid Takht-Ravanchi.

According to Takht-Ravanchi, Washington has also communicated its interest in resuming negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program.

“They’ve told us they want talks,” he said in an interview with the BBC. “No date has been set yet — nothing has been agreed on regarding timing or format.”

🇺🇸🇮🇷❗️Trump said he has nothing to offer Iran and has not spoken to them since the US strikes

"Unlike Obama [former US President Barack Obama], I have not even spoken to them since we completely destroyed their nuclear facilities," he wrote on his social network Truth Social.

According to Trump, Obama allocated "billions of dollars" to Iran as part of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on nuclear weapons.

🇮🇷 Iran’s parliament has voted to ban the use of the Starlink satellite internet service operated by U.S. company SpaceX, according to ISNA.

Violators face prison time and equipment confiscation. Prison terms will also apply to anyone involved in supplying Starlink within the country.

🇮🇷🇺🇦 Iran’s Foreign Ministry has formally summoned Ukraine’s acting chargé d’affaires to issue a protest note, following remarks from Ukrainian officials backing attacks on Iranian territory. The Iranian news agency ISNA confirmed the development.

Shahram Farsai, Director General for Eurasian Affairs at Iran’s Foreign Ministry, warned Kiev of serious consequences should it persist in promoting “hostile and provocative” rhetoric against Tehran.

The move comes after Zelensky openly supported U.S. airstrikes on Iran on June 22, framing them as targeting the nuclear infrastructure of a “regime that has greatly assisted Russian President Vladimir Putin.”

Al-Sharq al-Awsat reports:

In a new sign of unacknowledged military losses, the Israeli army has requested approximately $18 billion in financial compensation to cover damage sustained during the war against Iran and Gaza. This colossal figure reflects the true scale of the damage, which far exceeds officially reported numbers.

🇮🇷 The U.S. was seriously concerned about a potential blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, Reuters reports, citing sources. Following Israel’s first missile strike on June 13, Iran reportedly loaded naval mines onto vessels in the Persian Gulf.

A blockade of this key global shipping route could have dealt a major blow to international trade and driven up energy prices, as roughly 20% of the world’s oil and gas supply passes through the strait.

However, U.S. officials acknowledged it may have been an Iranian bluff.

🇫🇷🇷🇺🇮🇷 French President Emmanuel Macron called Vladimir Putin yesterday over concerns about Iranian ballistic missiles capable of reaching France, Le Parisien reports, citing sources.

According to Macron’s entourage, lines of communication with Moscow “were never fully severed,” but both leaders now share an “interest” in restoring direct contact.

The call lasted over two hours — unusually long by diplomatic standards, even with interpretation — and reportedly covered Ukraine as well as the highly sensitive issue of Iran’s nuclear program.

The immediate reason for the call, Le Parisien notes, was Macron’s alarm after meetings with the IAEA chief and a phone call with Iran’s president on Sunday. Iran has developed a dangerous arsenal of long-range ballistic missiles, some of which can reach altitudes above 100 km and pose a threat to parts of French territory.

When the U.S. began talks with Iran in Oman — weeks before airstrikes derailed the process — missile development was left off the table, with negotiations focusing solely on uranium enrichment.

🇮🇷💥🇮🇱 Iran Hit Five Israeli Military Sites, Including Major Airbase — Tel Aviv Kept It Quiet

During the 12-day conflict with Iran, Israel concealed the fact that five of its military facilities—including a major airbase—were successfully struck, according to The Daily Telegraph. The report cites satellite analysis conducted by Oregon State University.

The images show six Iranian missiles hitting targets in northern, southern, and central Israel. Among them were a military intelligence center and a logistics base. In total, Iran struck over 40 Israeli infrastructure sites during the brief conflict.

The Israeli military declined to confirm or deny the reported hits, only stating that “all units maintained operational continuity throughout the campaign.”
