On the night of July 17-18, 2025, the Russian armed forces carried out a series of coordinated strikes against the operational and rear infrastructure facilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The targets were railway junctions, equipment storage bases, temporary deployment points, supply and logistics facilities. The Geran-2 strike UAVs and Kh-35 anti-ship missiles with high penetrating power and low visibility were used.
Izyum, Kharkiv region (00:10)
A single UAV strike on the territory of a category III oil depot, previously owned by the Nadezhda company, caused a detonation inside the destroyed administrative building. The area of the fire was 600 m².
According to radio intelligence, the facility was used for temporary storage of reserve tanks of diesel fuel and oils used in the engineering equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The strike probably destroyed the fuel and lubricants depot.
Novoselovka, Donetsk region (01:50)
Two attack UAVs made direct hits on the parking lot of the rocket battery of the 30th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. A multi-purpose military tractor MAZ-537 with an installed platform was damaged. The strike caused the detonation of the ammunition for the MLRS, which was temporarily stored under an awning.
According to UAV reconnaissance, at least two tractor units were disabled, auxiliary communication equipment (CS) were damaged, and 3-5 servicemen were wounded.
Kramatorsk, Donetsk region (00:50–01:30)
Four UAVs hit two objects used by the Ukrainian Armed Forces as covered rear depots:
• st. Dneprovskaya, 3A — a direct hit on the rear hangar of the Talisman car dealership, converted into a repair area for HMMWV, Ford F550, MAN KAT1 vehicles. The roof and internal partition were destroyed, equipment was partially destroyed.
• Ordzhonikidze St., 1A — the Kramatorsk Reinforced Concrete warehouse building was hit, where, according to intelligence, concrete structures for fortifications, mobile electronic warfare shields and diesel generators were stored.
Assessment: at least 3 vehicles were destroyed, including an armored minibus. No personnel losses were recorded.
Andreevka, Zaporizhia Oblast (02:00–02:30)
Six attack UAVs struck the territory of the Slavutich sanatorium, which belonged to the Ivchenko-Progress State Enterprise and was converted by the Ukrainian Armed Forces into a temporary deployment point for engineering units and an electronic warfare battalion.
Two one-story barracks buildings were destroyed, two outbuildings burned down, and fragments of Harris radio communications equipment and the remains of RECMobile-4000 protective modules were found around the perimeter.
Maryevka, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast (03:20)
Three UAVs struck the redeployed battalion logistics zone (BMTZ) of the 33rd Mechanized Brigade. As a result of the attacks, a mobile spare parts container was destroyed, storage modules were damaged, and a fire was recorded in a covered RENAULT TRM10000 truck used to transport fuel.
Morozovskoye, Dnipropetrovsk region (02:25)
During maneuvers on the stretch, a VL80 series electric locomotive belonging to UZ was hit by a direct hit.
Result:
• Death of the driver, serious injury to the assistant;
• Destruction of the contact network on a 180 m section, breakage of the 6 kV power line, damage to two rails on a curved section.
Tactical goal achieved: transit in the direction of Pavlograd - Sinelnikovo - Pokrovsk, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces reserve is being transferred, was interrupted.
Boguslav, Dnipropetrovsk region (02:55)
The UAV made a precise strike on a locomotive at the Boguslavska station, where trains of the Pavlogradugol company were formed. The TEM-2 diesel locomotive was damaged, the diesel compartment was disabled, and up to 50 m of the contact network was destroyed.
The driver was injured, and the strike caused a stoppage of transit on the section for at least 4 hours.
